I have written about Fjällräven Kånken backpacks before. I really like the fact that they are washable, durable, light, and a real Swedish classic. They seem to be a great leveller because people from all walks of life carry them.
I was interested in the Acne/Fjällräven collaboration because these are two very different, very popular Swedish brands. Acne is less mainstream, more expensive, with a more fashion conscious client base. Acne was originally a PR agency, which developed jeans as a project.
These backpacks are made in different fabric and have a slightly different design than the classic Kånken. I rather prefer the small side pockets, although the higher price point would mean the market for these backpacks would perhaps be smaller than the regular ones.
